Theatre

As a dramaturg, producer and theatremaker I support artists in creating interactive work, drawing on my experience in live gaming and roleplay games. If you have a project exploring immersion or interactivity in theatre, I’d love to chat!

I was a member of Sheffield Theatres’ New Dramaturgs Group in 2023, which supported me in skills workshops, collaborating on a residency programme, reading and reporting on scripts, and dramaturgy for a Sheffield Theatres project.

An interactive horror-themed audio walk around Hull city centre, where the audience can shape the story depending on the route they decide to follow.

I was the project’s sound designer, crafting sound effects and fine-tuning the audio.

Curioptica is available to play until 1st December 2024.

An adaptation of a live game I created in 2020, this hybrid interactive performance took place on a Miro board as part of Barrel Organ LIVE at Barsnely Civic.

The audience were invited to guard a constellation each as the universe slowly fizzled out of existence, represented on a brainstorm board which they were able to interact with. The piece explored community in an isolated world and working to achieve common goals in the face of inevitability.

A monologue I wrote and performed for Roots‘ Queer Spaces: Live! showcases.
